OCI is happy to welcome back Mike Sargent “Sarg,” for his second season as a COCI technician.

Outside of the music community, Mike is currently in his sixth year as a Senior Paramedic/Field Trainer for a private ambulance company in Washington County.

Mike is currently attending Portland State University pursuing a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology. In the future Mike is looking forward to a career in Law Enforcement.

Mike was a member of the Northern Lights Marching Band from 1998-1999 as a bass player. He then went on to be a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Cymbal Line from 2000-2002.

Mike has taught at Tigard High School, Southridge High School, Westview High School, Glencoe High School, Oregon State University, Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps.

Mike has been married to his wife Wendy for the last 6 years; they have 2 dogs and a cat. Mike is glad to be back for a second season.
